EP 11 - The importance of local wholesalers

In this episode, host Derek Wright sits down with Matthew Hitchen from Trevor’s Food Service, a family-run wholesaler based in Blackpool, to chat about the challenges and triumphs of supplying fresh, local produce and quality goods to businesses across the North West.

But before we get to the warehouse floor, we kick things off with an update from our resident farmer Sam Mallinson of Malbro Farms, who shares what’s happening in the fields this season

We wrap things up with Ben Bartlett, our seasonal food expert — who brings you the latest in what's fresh and tasty right now, plus his recipe of the month you won’t want to miss.
